In honor of the abundance of shishito peppers from my garden, I decided to make my signature recipe once more. This creation is entirely my own; the peppers serve as the protein in this sandwich. And yes, while you can pickle your own daikon mix, it's probably best to purchase a container from your local Asian market, as theirs is likely superior. This grilled cheese is completely my original recipe, developed and tested with friends, and it's the only recipe on my blog that I can truly claim as mine.

French bread
2Tbs Mayones
Butter
Cucumber slices
Havarti cheese
Grilled shishito peppers
Cilantro
Mint
Pickled daikon, carrot mix
Directions
Grill your peppers. Here is an easy recipe

Next, spread the mayo on each slice of bread.
Melt butter in a pan, put bread in mayo side down. Add 2 slices of Havarti to each piece of bread. Once cheese starts to melt, cut the stems off the shishito's and place it on one side. Then stack on Pickled veggies, add cilantro and mint, then top with cucumbers and place other side on top. cover with a pan lid for 30 seconds to help cheese melt.
