Burrata Bruschetta w/ Basil

Sometimes, a straightforward, easy-to-make dish can leave a lasting impression. This is one of those recipes. This Bruschetta is fast, simple, and can be prepared in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
Bread slices (such as sourdough or baguette)

Burrata cheese Ricotta cheese
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Fresh basil, chopped or whole leaves
Olive oil
Salt
Black pepper
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Balsamic glaze (optional)
Directions:
1. Brush slices of bread with olive oil and toast until golden and crispy.
2. In a bowl, mix halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
3. Spread ricotta as a base on the toast. Slice your burrata cheese into thirds and lay one or two slices over the toasted bread, then add the tomato mixture on top
4. Drizzle with additional olive oil and balsamic glaze if desired. Garnish with extra basil and red pepper flakes.
