Easy Avocado Salad.

Here's a quick and easy salad that's perfect for summer or whenever you're in the mood for something fast and tasty. This recipe comes from my friend Jonathan Whitener, the late, great chef and owner of "Here's Looking at You." I really miss him.


Tip: To check if an avocado is ripe, gently remove the small stem nub at the top. If the area underneath is bright or light green, the avocado is perfectly ripe.


Ingredients

2 Avocados ( cubed)

1 white onion cut into thin strips

1 Tbsp White vinegar

1Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Maldon Salt ( smoked if ya got it)


Directions

Cut the Avocado into cubes

tope with raw white onions

Drizzle white vinegar over the top.

Drizzle EVOO on top

Finish with Maldon Salt.
